The United Rugby Club is a non-profit organization that was established in 1963 within the New Westminster and Tri-City areas. Through our mission we strive to develop rugby in our community and have worked hard to ensure that we include people of all ages. Our youngest playing member is only 4 years old, while our oldest playing member is 45 years old. United Rugby has over 250 active members and nearly 500 members including our alumni. United competes in the Fraser Valley Rugby Union and is a member of the British Columbia Rugby Union.

Community-driven
Since 1963, United Rugby has been an active participant within the community and has donated its time to numerous events such as the New Westminster Hyack Festival and the B.C. Summer Games. We were instrumental in the installation of lights at one of the Queen’s Park fields in New Westminster and the all-weather playing field at Maple Creek Middle School in Port Coquitlam. More recently United has been involved in helping with the Red Cross Blood Drive and raises funds for the BC Cancer Society. We provide scholarships to our younger playing members and our club members also donate hundreds of volunteer coaching hours annually to local area schools. One of the key pillars that we have built our club on is to develop youth sports programs in our community.
