Boxing Day was a pretty quite event this year. We had only 6-a-side for some football and we followed that by touch rugby.
The old boys couldn't keep up to the "childlike" pace of the young boys during the football match; however, all had some fun. Thanks to Wally for bringing a shelter for the specators to stand under as there were more specators than participants this year. After the match as usual we all went to the club for a social and to catch up.
At the clubhouse a cup was passed around to give to cancer in Ben Boon's name. This year's collection total was $235! Thanks to all that donated. The Boon family and all who have been affected by cancer appreciate it.
