Regular season starts early September with early season summer practices starting in August (stay tuned for more info)

Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays at Mundy Park, Maple Creek and Centennial, times TBD.

• Maple Creek Middle School, 3700 Hastings Street, Coquitlam

Games will be Sundays. Generally U14s play in the morning, followed by U16, then U18s in the afternoon. Subject to change.

Early registration bonus  If you register by June 30th midnight, you will be eligible to receive one of the following: United Hoodie (blue and burgundy) - picture attached - or a $30 credit towards United gear.

How Early Bird works:

• If you are a new registrant, never played with Junior United Rugby then you will receive a United hoodie.

• If you are a returning Juniors player, you will receive a $30 credit to be used towards a future purchase.

  • Players with credits can accumulate them year-over-year but all credits must be used by your last year of eligibility for Juniors. Shop the United store during the season and contact treasurer @ unitedrugby.ca to arrange using your credit. This credit can be used towards shorts, hoodies, Kamloops fees, etc.

• ***Note*** You will be contacted after Early Bird registration closes to confirm your credit.

BCRU Kamloops 7s Tournament is held in September. This is the only travel tournament we play in throughout the season. This is an amazing, optional opportunity to get to know your team, build team connections,  and have a blast playing quick 7s games over the weekend. United historically tries to send at least one team for each age group. This will be confirmed once registration for the tournament is open.  We have secured blocks of rooms at different hotels all close to each other. Keep an eye out for booking codes coming your way! Room bookings are first come first serve and we suggest booking early.

**This tournament is not mandatory.

SEASON

Fees: 

$300 which includes United, BC Rugby and Canada Rugby fees.

Equipment needed:

Cleats, mouth guard, water bottle and United uniform.

United Uniform:

Players will  need to purchase shorts ($50) and socks ($25) from the club's online store at the beginning of the season.

A jersey is provided with a $100  deposit which is returned when the jersey is handed in at the end of season in good condition.

If you are graduating in June, you are welcome to register as a Junior and play with us for the Fall season, then transition to the Seniors group in January.  Your Fall registration fees will cover you for the entire year.
